The security ability of Shenzhen Airport

　　（一）Organization structure of ground support for flights in Shenzhen Airport

Ground support for flights in Shenzhen Airport is composed of three units, namely Shenzhen Airport Co., Ltd, Southern Airlines (Shenzhen) Co. and Shenzhen Airlines. The Shenzhen Airport Co., Ltd. is a central responsible unit which takes charge of flight security of Shenzhen Airport (Group) Company. Its affiliated departments include: the command center, the department of passenger service, the service department of parking apron, security inspection station, air cargo terminals, air-affairs engineering department and other major functional departments. Currently, it has more than 5,000 employees and a variety of technical personnel. The equipments and facilities which equipped in accordance with the standards of international large-scale airport are provided with strong ground support capability.
　　（二）Current capabilities and resources of flights in Shenzhen Airport Group 1. Security capability of air affairs: It has 138 employees and technical personnel, 11 trailers of special equipment, 6 air-conditioned cars, 7 power cars, 4 steam cars, and the maximum security capacity in peak hours is 22 flights. 2.Security capacity of parking apron services: Currently, the service department of parking apron has 474 members and 151 special vehicles. The vehicles include: 9 ferries, 12 fluctuation platforms, 2 buses, 3 clean water trucks, 2 sewage trucks, 4 garbage trucks, 2 battery cars, 1 car for disabled and injured, 34 baggage tractors, 25 conveyer belts and 12 landing stairs, and the maximum security capacity in peak hours is 20 flights. 3. Security capability of aviation fuel: It has 113 existing personnel, 32 refueling worker, a 3,000-ton tanker berth and the capacity of oil storehouse is 30,500 cubic meters, the oil supply capability to parking apron is 700 m 3 / hour; 17 refueling vehicles can supply fuel to 17 aircrafts at the same time. 4. Security capability of Passenger Service Department: Currently it has 369 employees, 23 among them are working at the check-in counter in Terminal A to ensure 10 flights at the same time, 19 among them are working at the check-in counter in Terminal B to ensure 9 flights at the same time, 18 among them are working at the international check-in counter in Terminal B to ensure 4 flights at the same time. 5. Security capability of the air cargo terminal: 9 production support and business sections which consist of 305 staffs have been set up at domestic cargo station of Shenzhen Airport. The maximum leaving security capacity is 240 flights per day and cargo handling capacity is 800 tons; the maximum entering security capacity is 230 flights per day and cargo handling capacity is 800 tons. In addition, currently the International Cargo Station has 124 staffs, and the maximum security capacity of international flight is 30 flights per day and the cargo handling capacity is 70 tons per hour.
　　（三）To further enhance the development of the security ability for flight production, Shenzhen Airport has increased investment in human resources and ground equipments according to the company's 2007 annual development plan. First, in terms of human resources, 80 professional and technical personnel are expected to be replenished this year. Second, to purchase more ground support equipments and facilities while focusing on the completion of the parking apron of north station, 4 parking spaces is planned to be replenished (1E- type and 3 C-type ). In addition, the reconstruction project of remote parking places for terminal A and terminal B will be put into use before spring transportation of 2007., then the ground support ability will be greatly improved.
　　（四）Overall support capabilities personnel, equipments and facilities and development planning enumerated above is just the capacities of Shenzhen Airport Group, not including those of Southern Airline and Shenzhen Airlines. The total support capabilities of Shenzhen Airport at peak hour can reach to 50 sorties.
