””””Established in 1991, Shenzhen Airport Emergency Medical Center, which is approved by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China and Shenzhen City Health Bureau, is a safeguard unit for the first line production of Shenzhen Airport. Based on emergency treatment on site, it is a multi-functional medical health center which collects medical, emergency, immunization, health, medical insurance together. It has signed a paid services agreement of national aviation ground transit. Huayuan Rescue Company, which is directly under the center, provides transshipment service for transit passengers.
””””Affiliated agencies of the emergency medical center include: Emergency treatment department, clinics department, nursing department, and Huayuan Rescue Company. These agencies take on 24-hour emergency treatment security on site, emergency services, outpatient clinics, prevention and control of infectious diseases, transferring of passengers on the stretcher and so on. When an unexpected emergency occurs,, emergency rescue will be strongly supported by City Emergency Command Center, City 120 network and related functional departments and professional sectors.
””””A first-aid station of the Emergency Medical Center is set up in terminal B. The ambulance on duty is able to arrive at the outfield in three minutes when an emergent case occurs (Three of the six allocated ambulances are of recovery type). Communication equipments for first-aid within the scope of airport are: Desktop interphone, 800M portable interphone wireless telephone. The means of communication out of the airport are: IDD (27776120) and the desktop interphone for city 120 network. An emergency storage is established in the Emergency Medical Center to store emergency rescue materials.
””””The headquarters of the Emergency Medical Center covers about 1,800 square meters. It consists of medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology, ENT, stomatology, radiology, clinical laboratory, pharmacy, B-ultrasonic room, first-aid room, observation & isolation room and some assistant sections. Emergency rescue facilities are equipped fully in accordance with GB18040-2000 Allocation of Emergency Rescue Equipment for Civil Aviation Airport. China has the capacity under the direct aid ambulance transferred exit ports wounded and the sick patient could re-exported to other parts of the world. Huayuan Rescue Company, which is directly under the center, is capable of transferring patients to all over the world through port directly.
