Established in 1998, Shenzhen airport safeguarding and fire fighting station is aimed to provide security services according to requirements of standards and norms for passengers, consigners and airlines, and provide security safeguarding for air transport and operation of the airport.
¡¡¡¡Four brigades and an office have been established directly under the safeguarding and fire fighting station, namely the security brigade, the custody brigade, fire fighting brigade, supervision brigade for passenger-bridge and the office of the security station. 
¡¡¡¡The safeguarding brigade takes charge of patrolling and guarding in the flight controlling zone and ensuring the safety of the entrances and exits of the flight controlling zone. Meanwhile, it also takes charge of inspecting the vehicles and personnel passing in and out.
¡¡¡¡The monitoring brigade takes charge of the custody and guardianship of the aircraft for 24 hours a day and the guardianship e of the separated area in the airport;
¡¡¡¡The fire fighting brigade takes charge of the fire fighting operation within the airport and assisting relevant departments to supervise the safety of fire fighting.
¡¡¡¡The supervision brigade for passenger-bridge was set up on March 1, 2004. It is composed by the former guarding unit on the plane and the passenger-bridge unit of the electronic department. Shenzhen Airport It is mainly responsible for the guardianship on the aircraft crew and the receiving operation of the passenger-bridge.
¡¡¡¡The office takes charge of executive administration and logistical security of the safeguarding and fire fighting station.
